Passage Grammar Analyses

  1. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/dan-8-14.md — Niphal.Perf.3ms of tsadaq. WQtX clause type. Prophetic perfect/predictive weqatal. Only Niphal of tsadaq in OT. KJV "cleansed" but Hebrew root = righteous/vindicated, not ritual cleansing.
  2. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/lev-16-30.md — Three-verb kaphar→taher formula. Piel.Impf (kaphar) → Piel.InfCon (taher) → Qal.Impf (taher). Stem shift from Piel to Qal within same root. Formula A (kaphar→salach = daily) vs. Formula B (kaphar→taher = DOA). The phrase liphnei YHWH attaches to the result clause, not the action clause.
  3. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/lev-16-14-16.md — Two-phase blood application (on kapporeth vs. before kapporeth). Three-term sin taxonomy: tumot + pesha + chattat. God dwelling "in the midst of their uncleannesses."
  4. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/lev-16-20-22.md — Scapegoat sequence. Confession uses same three sin terms as v.16. nasa (bear) + shalach (send away). Avon transferred to goat → eretz gezerah.
  5. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/lev-16-21-sin-terms.md — Coordinated avon + pesha + chattat with individual kol quantifiers. Matches Lev 16:16 and parallels Exo 34:7.
  6. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/dan-9-24-27.md — Six telic infinitive constructs. First triad removes sin (pesha, chattat, avon). Second triad installs positive (tsedeq olamim, sealed prophecy, anointed sanctuary). Bridge: #3 kaphar → #4 tsedeq olamim. Niphal of chathak (hapax) = "cut off/decreed."
  7. D:/bible/bible-studies/grammar-reference/passages/dan-8-13-14-dialogue.md — Two-speaker frame. Ad-matay question answered by ad + terminus. Syntactic lock-and-key: whatever the question asks about, the answer terminates. Semantic inversion: qodesh as trampled (v.13) → qodesh as vindicated (v.14).
