מִקְדָּשׁוֹ מקדשׁ Noun.ms.Abs.+3ms his-sanctuary
Key observations: 1. sar (שׂר) = Noun.ms.Cst — MASCULINE singular construct 2. higdil = Hiphil.Perf.3ms — active voice, horn self-magnifies (causative reflexive) 3. huram = Hophal.Perf.3ms — PASSIVE of Hiphil, agent SUPPRESSED 4. hushlak = Hophal.Perf.3ms — PASSIVE of Hiphil, agent SUPPRESSED 5. mekon = Noun.ms.Cst — construct state, bound to miqdasho 6. miqdasho = Noun.ms.Abs + 3ms suffix — "his sanctuary" (3rd masculine singular suffix)
Gender chain: qeren (H7161) is FEMININE → all verbs with qeren as subject in Dan 8 are 3fs. The 3ms suffix on miqdasho cannot refer back to a feminine antecedent. The nearest masculine antecedent is sar-ha-tsaba (prince of the host). Therefore: "his sanctuary" = the Prince's sanctuary.
