יִשָּׂרֵף שׂרף (saraph) Verb.Niphal.Impf.3ms be burned

Key observations: - הֹוצִיא (Hiphil of yatsa) = "he shall carry forth / cause to go out" — causative: the priest actively removes the bull - מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה = "from-outside to-the-camp" = "outside the camp" — the standard formula - מָקוֹם טָהוֹר = "a clean place" — the disposal site is specifically ritually clean, not contaminated - שֶׁפֶךְ הַדֶּשֶׁן = "the pouring-place of the ashes" — a designated dump site - שָׂרַף (Qal perfect) then יִשָּׂרֵף (Niphal imperfect) — active "he shall burn it" then passive "it shall be burned"

עֹרֹתָם עור (or) Noun.fp.+3mp their skins
בְּשָׂרָם בשׂר (basar) Noun.ms.+3mp their flesh
פִּרְשָׁם פרשׁ (peresh) Noun.ms.+3mp their dung

Key observations: - הוּבָא (Hophal perfect of bo) = "was brought in" — the blood was carried inside (passive voice emphasizes the action done to the blood) - לְכַפֵּר בַּקֹּדֶשׁ = "to make atonement in the holy place" — Piel infinitive construct of kaphar; the atoning occurs inside the sanctuary - This verse is the exact OT referent of Heb 13:11 — blood brought into the sanctuary (εἰσφέρεται... εἰς τὰ ἅγια), bodies burned outside the camp (κατακαίεται ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς) - The three items burned: skins (orot), flesh (basar), dung (peresh) — total disposal

Numbers 19:3

Hebrew: וּנְתַתֶּם אֹתָהּ אֶל־אֶלְעָזָר הַכֹּהֵן וְהוֹצִיא אֹתָהּ אֶל־מִחוּץ לַמַּחֲנֶה וְשָׁחַט אֹתָהּ לְפָנָיו

וְשָׁחַט שׁחט (shachat) Verb.Qal.Perf.3ms slaughter
אֹתָהּ את Prep.+3fs her
לְפָנָיו פנה (paneh) Noun.mp.+3ms before his face

Key observations for EGW verification: - The priest is Eleazar (אֶלְעָזָר), NOT Aaron the high priest - The title is הַכֹּהֵן (the priest), NOT הַכֹּהֵן הַגָּדוֹל (the high priest / great priest) - This does NOT match Heb 13:11's description "by the high priest" (διὰ τοῦ ἀρχιερέως) - The red heifer is slaughtered outside the camp and blood sprinkled toward the tabernacle (Num 19:4), NOT brought into the sanctuary

Genesis 3:24

Hebrew: וַיְגָרֶשׁ אֶת־הָאָדָם וַיַּשְׁכֵּן מִקֶּדֶם לְגַן־עֵדֶן אֶת־הַכְּרֻבִים וְאֵת לַהַט הַחֶרֶב הַמִּתְהַפֶּכֶת לִשְׁמֹר אֶת־דֶּרֶךְ עֵץ הַחַיִּים

דֶּרֶךְ דרך (derek) Noun.s.Cst way of
עֵץ עץ (ets) Noun.ms.Cst tree of
הַחַיִּים חי (chay) Noun.mp.Abs life

Key observations for EGW verification: - גָרַשׁ (garash, Piel) = "he drove out" — forceful expulsion - This is a DIFFERENT verb from יָצָא (yatsa, Hiphil) used in Lev 4:12 for "carry forth" - garash (H1644) = drive out/expel (forceful, judicial); yatsa Hiphil (H3318) = cause to go out/bring forth (procedural, ritual) - The vocabulary overlap is thematic (movement from inside to outside) but not lexical (different verbs with different connotations) - Scripture does not explicitly connect the Eden expulsion vocabulary with the chattat burning vocabulary — this link would be a typological inference

Leviticus 10:17

Hebrew: מַדּוּעַ לֹא־אֲכַלְתֶּם אֶת־הַחַטָּאת בִּמְקוֹם הַקֹּדֶשׁ כִּי קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים הִוא וְאֹתָהּ נָתַן לָכֶם לָשֵׂאת אֶת־עֲוֹן הָעֵדָה לְכַפֵּר עֲלֵיהֶם לִפְנֵי יְהוָה

עֲלֵיהֶם על (al) Prep.+3mp for them
לִפְנֵי פנה (paneh) Noun.mp.Cst before
יְהוָה יהוה (YHWH) PropN the LORD

Key observations for Bohr verification: - לָשֵׂאת (Qal infinitive construct of nasa, H5375) = "to bear" — NOT chashab (H2803, "to reckon/impute") - The priest bears (nasa) the iniquity (avon) of the congregation — this is carrying/absorbing language, not forensic imputation language - The chattat is קֹדֶשׁ קָדָשִׁים ("holy of holies" / "most holy") — the chattat carries holiness even as it absorbs sin - The purpose: "to make atonement (lekhapper) for them before the LORD" — the priest's eating IS the atonement mechanism for Path 2 chattat

Deuteronomy 23:14 (Hebrew v.15 = English v.14)

Hebrew: וְיָתֵד תִּהְיֶה לְךָ עַל־אֲזֵנֶךָ וְהָיָה בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ חוּץ וְחָפַרְתָּה בָהּ וְשַׁבְתָּ וְכִסִּיתָ אֶת־צֵאָתֶךָ

Note: This is Hebrew v.14, corresponding to English v.13.

Hebrew v.15 (= English v.14): כִּי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ מִתְהַלֵּךְ בְּקֶרֶב מַחֲנֶךָ ... וְהָיָה מַחֲנֶיךָ קָדוֹשׁ

Key observations: - מִתְהַלֵּךְ (Hithpael participle of halak) = "walking about" — God's active presence in the camp - בְּקֶרֶב (beqerev) = "in the midst of" — central location - מַחֲנֶךָ (machanekha) = "your camp" - קָדוֹשׁ (qadosh) = "holy" — the camp MUST be holy because YHWH is in it - This verse provides the theological rationale for everything sent "outside the camp": the camp must be holy because YHWH walks in its midst
