Rev 10:9-10

| κατάφαγε G2719 [V-2AAM-2S] Aor Act Impv Sg 2nd (Eat up completely!) | πικρανεῖ G4087 [V-FAI-3S] Fut Act Ind Sg 3rd (it will embitter) | κοιλίαν G2836 [N-ASF] Acc Sg F (belly) | ἔσται G1510 [V-FDI-3S] Fut Mid Ind Sg 3rd (it will be) | γλυκύ G1099 [A-NSN] Nom Sg N (sweet) | μέλι G3192 [N-NSN] Nom Sg N (honey) Rev 10:10 — καὶ ἔλαβον τὸ βιβλαρίδιον ἐκ τῆς χειρὸς τοῦ ἀγγέλου καὶ κατέφαγον αὐτό, καὶ ἦν ἐν τῷ στόματί μου ὡς μέλι γλυκύ· καὶ ὅτε ἔφαγον αὐτό, ἐπικράνθη ἡ κοιλία μου κατέφαγον G2719 [V-2AAI-1S] Aor Act Ind Sg 1st (I ate up completely) | ἦν G1510 [V-IAI-3S] Impf Act Ind Sg 3rd (it was) | γλυκύ G1099 [A-NSN] Nom Sg N (sweet) | ἐπικράνθη G4087 [V-API-3S] Aor Pass Ind Sg 3rd (was embittered — belly as grammatical subject) | κοιλία G2836 [N-NSF] Nom Sg F (belly — subject!) | μου G1473 [P-1GS] Gen Sg (my) KEY MORPHOLOGY: pikranei (10:9) = Future Active Indicative = 'it WILL embitter your belly' — predictive, inevitable. epikranthē (10:10) = Aorist Passive Indicative, 3rd person singular = 'was embittered' — the belly is the GRAMMATICAL SUBJECT (hē koilia mou, NSF = subject). The belly undergoes passive embitterment as a completed past action. Bitterness is immediate (hotē ephagon = 'as soon as I ate') and bodily. TRANSFORMATION: Ezek 3:3 = sweet only (debash/honey). Ezek 3:14 = mar (bitter adjective) describing the prophet's emotional state AFTER eating. Rev 10:10 = belly passively embittered AS the eating occurs. The bitterness has moved from external emotional aftermath to intrinsic digestive reality.

Rev 11:1-2

Rev 11:1 — Καὶ ἐδόθη μοι κάλαμος ὅμοιος ῥάβδῳ, λέγων Ἔγειρε καὶ μέτρησον τὸν ναὸν τοῦ Θεοῦ καὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον καὶ τοὺς προσκυνοῦντας ἐν αὐτῷ ἐδόθη G1325 [V-API-3S] Aor Pass Ind Sg 3rd (was given — divine passive) | κάλαμος G2563 [N-NSM] Nom Sg M (reed) | ὅμοιος G3664 [A-NSM] Nom Sg M (like/similar to) | ῥάβδῳ G4464 [N-DSF] Dat Sg F (rod/staff) | μέτρησον G3354 [V-AAM-2S] Aor Act Impv Sg 2nd (measure!) | ναὸν G3485 [N-ASM] Acc Sg M (inner temple/naos) | θυσιαστήριον G2379 [N-ASN] Acc Sg N (altar) | προσκυνοῦντας G4352 [V-PAP-APM] Pres Act Ptcp Acc Pl M (those worshipping) Rev 11:2 — καὶ τὴν αὐλὴν τὴν ἔξωθεν τοῦ ναοῦ ἔκβαλε ἔξωθεν καὶ μὴ αὐτὴν μετρήσῃς, ὅτι ἐδόθη τοῖς ἔθνεσιν αὐλὴν G833 [N-ASF] Acc Sg F (outer court/courtyard) | ἔκβαλε G1544 [V-2AAM-2S] Aor Act Impv Sg 2nd (cast out/exclude!) | μετρήσῃς G3354 [V-AAS-2S] Aor Act Subj Sg 2nd (that you measure — subjunctive of prohibition: mē + subj) | ἐδόθη G1325 [V-API-3S] Aor Pass Ind Sg 3rd (was given — divine passive) | ἔθνεσιν G1484 [N-DPN] Dat Pl N (nations/Gentiles) KEY MORPHOLOGY: kalamos G2563 = SAME word as LXX Ezek 40:3 (H7070 qaneh → G2563 kalamos, PMI 9.09). The LXX chain is unbroken. aulē (G833) = only occurrence in Revelation — the OUTER COURT is the unique vocabulary item identifying what is EXCLUDED. metrēson (11:1, Aor Act Impv) vs. mē metrisēs (11:2, mē + Aor Act Subj) = measure! vs. do not measure! — two commands in contrasting syntax. The divine passive (edothē) in both v.1 and v.2 frames both commands as coming from God: the reed is given by God; the outer court is given to the Gentiles by God. What God gives to measuring (naos, altar, worshippers) is protected; what God gives to Gentiles (aule) is surrendered for trampling.

Rev 11:4

Rev 11:4 — Οὗτοί εἰσιν αἱ δύο ἐλαῖαι καὶ αἱ δύο λυχνίαι αἱ ἐνώπιον τοῦ Κυρίου τῆς γῆς ἑστῶτες Οὗτοί G3778 [D-NPM] Nom Pl M (these — MASCULINE demonstrative) | εἰσιν G1510 [V-PAI-3P] (are) | ἐλαῖαι G1636 [N-NPF] Nom Pl F (olive trees — FEMININE) | λυχνίαι G3087 [N-NPF] Nom Pl F (lampstands — FEMININE) | ἑστῶτες G2476 [V-RAP-NPM] Perf Act Ptcp Nom Pl M (having stood/standing — MASCULINE) KEY MORPHOLOGY: CONSTRUCTIO AD SENSUM confirmed. houtoi (masculine demonstrative) introduces the sentence. elaiai and lychniai are both FEMININE PLURAL nouns. But hestōtes = Perf Act Ptcp NPM = MASCULINE PLURAL. The masculine participle with two feminine noun subjects is grammatically anomalous — a deliberate construction indicating the referents (the two witnesses) are PERSONS (masculine), not the objects named (olive trees/lampstands, feminine). This is textbook constructio ad sensum (sense agreement overriding grammatical gender). TM214: the witnesses are PERSONS who are identified WITH (not literally ARE) the olive trees and lampstands. In Zechariah: lampstand and olive trees are SEPARATE objects. In Rev 11:4: the witnesses ARE BOTH simultaneously — a merger of the two symbolic categories into single referents.

Rev 20:8

Rev 20:8 — καὶ ἐξελεύσεται πλανῆσαι τὰ ἔθνη τὰ ἐν ταῖς τέσσαρσιν γωνίαις τῆς γῆς, τὸν Γὼγ καὶ Μαγώγ, συναγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν πόλεμον, ὧν ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτῶν ὡς ἡ ἄμμος τῆς θαλάσσης ἐξελεύσεται G1831 [V-FDI-3S] Fut Mid Ind Sg 3rd (he will go out) | πλανῆσαι G4105 [V-AAN] Aor Act Inf (to deceive — PURPOSE infinitive) | ἔθνη G1484 [N-APN] Acc Pl N (nations) | τέσσαρσιν G5064 [A-DPF] Dat Pl F (four) | γωνίαις G1137 [N-DPF] Dat Pl F (corners/quarters) | γῆς G1093 [N-GSF] Gen Sg F (earth) | Γὼγ G1136 [N-PRI] Acc Sg M (Gog) | Μαγώγ G3098 [N-PRI] Acc Sg M (Magog) | συναγαγεῖν G4863 [V-2AAN] Aor Act Inf (to gather together — second PURPOSE infinitive) | ἄμμος G285 [N-NSF] Nom Sg F (sand) KEY MORPHOLOGY: planēsai (G4105, Aor Act Inf) = purpose infinitive: Satan goes out TO DECEIVE. This is the defining action — the gathering is the result of deception, not military strategy alone. 'Gog and Magog' appear as ACCUSATIVE APPOSITIVE to ta ethnē (the nations) — Gog and Magog = the nations of the four corners = collective identity, not two distinct armies. The named geopolitical entities of Ezek 38:2-6 (specific coalition: Meshech, Tubal, Persia, Ethiopia, etc.) are dissolved into the universal formula 'the four corners of the earth.' Universalization: Ezek specific named coalition (north) → Rev all nations from all four directions. planēsai connects to Rev 12:9 (ho planōn tēn oikoumenēn holēn — 'the one deceiving the whole world') — same vocabulary, same agent, universal scope.

Rev 4:6-8

Rev 4:6 — καὶ ἐνώπιον τοῦ θρόνου ὡς θάλασσα ὑαλίνη ὁμοία κρυστάλλῳ· καὶ ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ κύκλῳ τοῦ θρόνου τέσσερα ζῷα γέμοντα ὀφθαλμῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ὄπισθεν θάλασσα G2281 [N-NSF] Nom Sg F | ὑαλίνη G5193 [A-NSF] Nom Sg F (glassy) | ὁμοία G3664 [A-NSF] Nom Sg F (like/similar) | κρυστάλλῳ G2930 [N-DSM] Dat Sg M (crystal) | τέσσερα G5064 [A-NPN] Nom Pl N | ζῷα G2226 [N-NPN] Nom Pl N (living creatures) | γέμοντα G1073 [V-PAP-NPN] Pres Act Ptcp Nom Pl N (being full) | ὀφθαλμῶν G3788 [N-GPM] Gen Pl M (of eyes) | ἔμπροσθεν G1715 [ADV] (before) | ὄπισθεν G3693 [ADV] (behind) Rev 4:7 — καὶ τὸ ζῷον τὸ πρῶτον ὅμοιον λέοντι, καὶ τὸ δεύτερον ζῷον ὅμοιον μόσχῳ, καὶ τὸ τρίτον ζῷον ἔχων τὸ πρόσωπον ὡς ἀνθρώπου, καὶ τὸ τέταρτον ζῷον ὅμοιον ἀετῷ πετομένῳ λέοντι G3023 [N-DSM] Dat Sg M (lion) | μόσχῳ G3448 [N-DSM] Dat Sg M (calf/young bull) | πρόσωπον G4383 [N-ASN] Acc Sg N (face) | ἀνθρώπου G444 [N-GSM] Gen Sg M (of a man) | ἀετῷ G105 [N-DSM] Dat Sg M (eagle) | πετομένῳ G4072 [V-PNP-DSM] Pres M/P Ptcp Dat Sg M (flying) KEY MORPHOLOGY: ONE face per creature (v.7) — ὅμοιον (similar to) + single dative noun. Contrast Ezek 1:10: four faces per creature. Ox (H7794 shor) → calf (G3448 moschos): the ox becomes a young bull/calf. ἔχων [V-PAP-NSM] Nom Sg M masculine participle with neuter ζῷον subject = grammatical constructio ad sensum (third creature has face of a man = person-like). Rev 4:8 — ζῷα G2226 [N-NPN] | ἔχων G2192 [V-PAP-NSM] (each having) | πτέρυγας G4420 [N-APF] Acc Pl F (wings) | ἕξ G1803 (six) | γέμουσιν G1073 [V-PAI-3P] Pres Act Ind Pl (they are full) | ὀφθαλμῶν G3788 [N-GPM] (of eyes) | λέγοντες G3004 [V-PAP-NPM] (saying) | Ἅγιος ἅγιος ἅγιος G40 [A-NSM] Nom Sg M × 3 (Holy holy holy) KEY MORPHOLOGY: πτέρυγας ἕξ = SIX WINGS per creature (from Isa 6:2, not Ezek 1:6 which has four wings). γέμουσιν ὀφθαλμῶν (full of eyes) — eyes inside as well (ἔσωθεν, v.8). Trisagion (Ἅγιος × 3) = from Isa 6:3, absent from Ezek 1. These two features (six wings, trisagion) both come from Isa 6, not Ezek 1, confirming Rev 4 is a composite of Ezek 1 + Isa 6.

Rev 5:6

Rev 5:6 — Καὶ εἶδον ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ θρόνου καὶ τῶν τεσσάρων ζῴων καὶ ἐν μέσῳ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων Ἀρνίον ἑστηκὸς ὡς ἐσφαγμένον, ἔχων κέρατα ἑπτὰ καὶ ὀφθαλμοὺς ἑπτά, οἵ εἰσιν τὰ ἑπτὰ Πνεύματα τοῦ Θεοῦ ἀπεσταλμένοι εἰς πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν Ἀρνίον G721 [N-ASN] Acc Sg N (little lamb) | ἑστηκὸς G2476 [V-RAP-ASN] Perf Act Ptcp Acc Sg N (having stood/standing in a completed state) | ἐσφαγμένον G4969 [V-RPP-ASN] Perf Pass Ptcp Acc Sg N (having been slain — ongoing) | κέρατα G2768 [N-APN] Acc Pl N (horns) | ἑπτὰ G2033 (seven) | ὀφθαλμοὺς G3788 [N-APM] Acc Pl M (eyes) | ἑπτά G2033 (seven) | οἵ G3739 [R-NPM] Nom Pl M (who/which — masculine!) | εἰσιν G1510 [V-PAI-3P] (are) | Πνεύματα G4151 [N-NPN] Nom Pl N (Spirits — neuter) | ἀπεσταλμένοι G649 [V-RPP-NPM] Perf Pass Ptcp Nom Pl M (having been sent — masculine) KEY MORPHOLOGY: esphagmenon = Perf Pass Ptcp — the slain-state is permanent and present, not merely historical. hestēkos = Perf Act Ptcp — the standing is in a completed state (the Lamb stands as one who has definitively taken its place). ohi eisin = masculine relative pronoun referring back to ophthalmous (eyes, masculine plural) = the eyes ARE the Spirits. Grammatical equation: eyes = Spirits = sent into all the earth. Zechariah verbal chain completed: Zech 4:2 lamps → 4:6 Spirit → 4:10 eyes of the LORD running through all the earth → Rev 5:6 Lamb's seven eyes = seven Spirits sent into all the earth.
