Exodus 40 (Full Chapter — Tabernacle Setup and Glory-Filling)

40:1-8 God commands Moses to set up tabernacle, place ark, table, lampstand, golden altar, burnt offering altar, laver, and court. 40:9 "And thou shalt take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shalt hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy." 40:10 "And thou shalt anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy." 40:13 "And thou shalt put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office." 40:16 "Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he." 40:20-21 "And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark: And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses." 40:34-35 "Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle. Hebrews 9:1-28 (Full Chapter — Sanctuary Typology)

9:1-5 Description of earthly sanctuary: first tabernacle with candlestick, table, shewbread (the sanctuary/holy place); after second veil, the Holiest of all with golden censer, ark, mercy seat. 9:6-7 "Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God. But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people." 9:8 "The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing." 9:11-12 "But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands... Hebrews 10:19-22 (The Inaugurated Way)

10:19-20 "Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated [enekainisen, G1457, aorist active] for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh." 10:21-22 "And having an high priest over the house of God; Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith..."

Acts 2:1-4,33 (Pentecost — Heavenly Inauguration Ratified)

2:1-4 "And when the day of Pentecost was fully come... there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind... And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. Daniel 9:24 (Anointing the Most Holy)

"Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy."

Hebrews 7:1-28 (Full Chapter — Melchizedek Priesthood and Intercession)

Hebrews 8:1-6 (Minister of the Sanctuary)

8:1-2 "Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man." 8:5 "Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount." 8:6 "But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant."

"My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world."

Romans 8:33-34 (Intercession at God's Right Hand)

"Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."

Revelation 5:6-8 (Lamb and Golden Vials of Prayers)

Leviticus 16 (Full Chapter — The DOA Ritual)

16:2 "Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat... that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat." 16:12-13 "And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail: And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not." 16:14-16 Blood sprinkled on and before mercy seat; atonement for holy place "because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins." 16:17 "And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel." 16:20-22 Scapegoat ritual: confession, transfer, sent to wilderness. 16:30 "For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD."

Revelation 11:15-19 (Seventh Trumpet — Ark Revealed)

11:15 "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ." 11:18 "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged..." 11:19 "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail."

15:5 "And after that I looked, and, behold, the temple of the tabernacle of the testimony in heaven was opened." 15:7 "And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God." 15:8 "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled."

Daniel 7:9-14 (Judgment Scene)

7:9-10 "I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit... the judgment was set, and the books were opened." 7:13-14 "One like the Son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom."

Daniel 8:14 (Sanctuary Cleansed/Vindicated)

"Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed."

Hebrews 9:27-28 (Judgment, Then Second Appearing)

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."

Hebrews 10:26-27 (Fearful Judgment)

"For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries."

Leviticus 16:23-24 (High Priest Emerges)

"And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there: And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people."

Leviticus 9:22-24 (Aaron Emerges, Blesses, Fire Falls)

"And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces."

Hebrews 9:28 (Second Appearing)

"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time [ek deuterou, G1208] without sin [choris hamartias] unto salvation [eis soterian]."

Revelation 19:11-16 (Christ Returns as King)
