Hebrews 9:5 — hilasterion (physical mercy seat)

Revelation 1:12 — lychnia (golden candlesticks)

NOTE: Present tense echomen ("we have") and latreuontes ("the ones serving") indicate ongoing reality. Christians HAVE an altar; those serving the old tabernacle system have no right to eat from it. The altar is thysiastērion (from thysis = sacrifice) — literally "place of sacrifice."

John 13:10 — Washing vocabulary
