Study: rev-25 -- Chronological Models and the DOA Framework (S.2)¶
A. DOA Ritual Sequence (Leviticus 16)¶
The Linear Sequence Within a Single Day¶
Lev 16:2 -- "And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron thy brother, that he come not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat." Function: RESTRICTION -- MHP access limited to DOA only (annual, not daily)
Lev 16:3-6 -- Preparation: bullock and ram for sin/burnt offering; linen garments; two goats from congregation Function: SACRIFICE preparation -- the offerings are assembled BEFORE the ritual sequence begins
Lev 16:11-13 -- "And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering... and shall kill the bullock... And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail: And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not." Function: CENSER/INCENSE -- the portable censer carried from brazen altar through the veil. This is STEP 2 in the DOA sequence. Maps to Rev 8:3-5 (AN022).
Lev 16:14-15 -- Blood sprinkled on mercy seat and before mercy seat, seven times. Function: ATONEMENT APPLICATION -- blood applied in the MHP. Maps to the MHP access at Rev 11:19 (AN040).
Lev 16:17 -- "And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goeth in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he come out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel." Function: EXCLUSION -- universal prohibition on sanctuary entry during atonement. Maps to Rev 15:8 (AN043).
Lev 16:20-22 -- "And when he hath made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat: And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel... putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness: And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited." Function: SCAPEGOAT -- sin transfer and removal to wilderness. Maps to Rev 20:1-3 (E107).
Lev 16:29-30 -- "And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, ye shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all... For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that ye may be clean from all your sins before the LORD." Function: ANNUAL RECURRENCE -- the DOA occurs every year on Tishri 10. This is the RECAPITULATIVE dimension.
The Feast Calendar Sequence (Leviticus 23:24-34)¶
Lev 23:24 -- "In the seventh month, in the first day of the month, shall ye have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, an holy convocation." Tishri 1: FEAST OF TRUMPETS -- warning/preparation. Maps to trumpet sequence (Rev 8-11).
Lev 23:27 -- "Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls." Tishri 10: DAY OF ATONEMENT -- judgment/cleansing. Maps to judgment spine (Rev 11:19-16:21).
Lev 23:34 -- "The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD." Tishri 15: FEAST OF TABERNACLES -- restoration/dwelling. Maps to New Jerusalem (Rev 21:1-22:5).
B. Recapitulation Evidence Verses¶
VP174: Shared elthen+orge Formula¶
Rev 6:17 -- "For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?" Seal climax: elthen (aorist) + orge. The great day of wrath has ARRIVED.
Rev 11:18 -- "And the nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth." Trumpet climax: elthen (aorist) + orge. IDENTICAL formula to 6:17. Both sequences declare wrath as having arrived.
TM192: Chronological Regression¶
Rev 12:1-5 -- "And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun... And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne." After the eschatological 7th trumpet (11:15-19), the narrative returns to Christ's birth. This chronological regression is the single strongest marker against strict linear reading.
TM193: Second Coming Language in 6th Bowl¶
Rev 16:15 -- "Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth, and keepeth his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame." Second Coming language embedded within the 6th bowl, before the 7th bowl's final judgment.
C. Telescoping Evidence Verses¶
SP033: 7th-Element Transition Pattern¶
Rev 8:1-2 -- "And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour. And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets." 7th seal has no independent judgment content; flows directly into trumpet introduction.
Rev 11:15 -- "And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever." 7th trumpet has no independent destructive judgment content; contains kingdom declaration.
TM057: Theophany Formula Escalation¶
Rev 4:5 -- "And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices." Baseline: 3 elements (lightnings, thunderings, voices)
Rev 8:5 -- "And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake." Seal-trumpet junction: 4 elements (+earthquake)
Rev 11:19 -- "And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail." Trumpet climax: 5 elements (+great hail). This is also the DOA PIVOT (AN040, ark visible).
Rev 16:18-21 -- "And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great... And there fell upon men a great hail out of heaven, every stone about the weight of a talent." Bowl climax: 5+ intensified elements (superlative earthquake, talent-weight hail)
D. Linear Evidence Verses¶
SP036: Fraction Escalation¶
Rev 6:8 -- "...and power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth." Seals: 1/4 scope
Rev 8:7 -- "...and the third part of trees was burnt up." Trumpets: 1/3 scope (tritos appears 13+ times in Rev 8:7-12)
Rev 16:3 -- "...and every living soul died in the sea." Bowls: TOTAL scope (zero fraction words; pasa replaces tritos)
SP058: Intercession-to-Judgment Transition¶
Rev 8:3-4 -- "And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand." Trumpet introduction: INTERCESSION ACTIVE -- prayers mediated, incense ascending, access open.
Rev 15:8 -- "And the temple was filled with smoke from the glory of God, and from his power; and no man was able to enter into the temple, till the seven plagues of the seven angels were fulfilled." Bowl introduction: ACCESS DENIED -- temple filled, no entry, intercession ceased.
