CRITICAL structural elements for AN043 parallel: 1. כָל אָדָם לֹא יִהְיֶה = "every man shall NOT be" — universal exclusion via prohibition (Qal imperfect of היה with negation) 2. בְּאֹהֶל מֹועֵד = "in the tent of meeting" — sanctuary location 3. עַד צֵאתוֹ = "until his going out" — temporal limit with עַד
Compare Rev 15:8: οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο (no one was ABLE) — prohibition becomes inability.
Leviticus 16:2 — Cloud upon the Mercy Seat¶

Key: עָנָן (anan, cloud) — God appears IN THE CLOUD upon the mercy seat. This is the theophanic cloud, the same word used in Exo 40:34. NOT the same as עָשָׁן (ashan, smoke) used in Isa 6:4 or the Greek καπνός in Rev 15:8.
Leviticus 16:13 — Incense Cloud Covers the Testimony¶

CRITICAL notes: - The incense cloud (עֲנַן הַקְּטֹרֶת, anan haqqetoret) — a humanly-generated cloud from incense smoke - Covers the כַּפֹּרֶת (kapporet, mercy seat) which is עַל הָעֵדוּת (upon the testimony/edut) - Purpose: protective — "that he die not" (וְלֹא יָמוּת) - CONTRAST with Rev 15:8: the heavenly smoke comes FROM God's glory/power, not from humanly-burned incense

Parallel to Rev 15:8: לֹא יָכֹל... לָבוֹא (was not able to enter) = οὐδεὶς ἐδύνατο εἰσελθεῖν (no one was able to enter). Same construction: negation + ability verb + infinitive of entering.
Isaiah 6:4 — Smoke Fills the House¶

CRITICAL: The word is עָשָׁן (ashan, SMOKE), NOT עָנָן (anan, CLOUD). This aligns with Rev 15:8's καπνός (kapnos, smoke) rather than with Exo 40:34's ענן (cloud). The LXX translates ashan with kapnos, establishing the direct lexical bridge.
Numbers 17:7 (= KJV 16:42) — Glory Cloud Appears Before Plague¶

CRITICAL: Glory-cloud appears at the tabernacle IMMEDIATELY BEFORE the plague begins (Num 16:46 in KJV). This is the ONE OT passage where glory-filling and plague occur in direct sequence — exactly the sequence of Rev 15:8 → Rev 16:1-21.
