Matthew 10:5-6 — "These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." - Context: Sending the Twelve on a specific mission (Matt 10:1-42) - Note: v.18 in same discourse says "for a testimony against them and the Gentiles" — Jesus anticipates Gentile contact

Matthew 28:18-20 — "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen."

Mark 13:10 — "And the gospel must first be published among all nations."

Mark 16:15 — "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature."

Luke 24:47-48 — "And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. And ye are witnesses of these things."

John 10:16 — "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd."

John 12:20-24,32 — "And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: The same came therefore to Philip...and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus...And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit...And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me."

Matthew 8:5-13 (Centurion): - v.10: "I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel" - v.11: "many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven" - v.12: "But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness"

Matthew 15:22-28 (Syrophoenician/Canaanite woman): - v.22: "a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him" - v.24: "I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel" - v.28: "O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt"

John 4:7-42 (Samaritan woman at the well): - v.9: "the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans" - v.21-23: "the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father...the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth" - v.22: "salvation is of the Jews" - v.42: Samaritans declare Jesus "the Christ, the Saviour of the world"

Genesis 12:3 — "And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."

Genesis 22:18 — "And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice."

Psalm 2:8 — "Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession."

Isaiah 42:1,6 — "Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles...I the LORD have called thee in righteousness...and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles."

Isaiah 49:6 — "And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth."

Isaiah 56:6-8 — "Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD...Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer...for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people. The Lord GOD which gathereth the outcasts of Israel saith, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him."

Amos 9:11-12 — "In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen...That they may possess the remnant of Edom, and of all the heathen, which are called by my name, saith the LORD."

Malachi 1:11 — "For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith the LORD of hosts."

E. Paul's Gentile Mission Statements

Romans 1:16 — "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek."

Romans 10:12-13 — "For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Romans 11:11-13 — "through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy...For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office"

Romans 11:17-24 (Olive tree metaphor): Gentiles as wild branches grafted into Israel's olive tree; natural branches (Jews) broken off through unbelief; both stand by faith.

Romans 11:25-26 — "blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. And so all Israel shall be saved"

Romans 15:8-12 — "Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers: And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles...Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people...Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles...There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust."

Ephesians 2:11-18 — "ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh...at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel...But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances...And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. Ephesians 3:1-8 — "I Paul, the prisoner of Jesus Christ for you Gentiles...by revelation he made known unto me the mystery...That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel...Unto me...is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ"

Colossians 3:11 — "Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all."

1 Timothy 2:7 — "Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity."
