Question

Paul says "if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing" (Galatians 5:2) and "circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing" (1 Corinthians 7:19). Jesus was circumcised (Luke 2:21), never spoke against circumcision, and said "salvation is of the Jews" (John 4:22). Did Paul contradict Jesus?
