Greek Parsing Raw Data

REV 1:19 — Temporal Three-Part Division

- γράψον (grapho) — Aor Act Impv 2S: "Write" - εἶδες (horao) — Aor Act Ind 2S: "you have seen" (PAST) - εἰσὶν (eimi) — Pres Act Ind 3P: "are" (PRESENT) - μέλλει (mello) — Pres Act Ind 3S: "is about to" (FUTURE) - γενέσθαι (ginomai) — Aor Mid Inf: "to take place" - μετὰ ταῦτα (meta tauta) — "after these things"

KEY FINDING: Three temporal categories: (1) ha eides = past vision, (2) ha eisin = present realities, (3) ha mellei genesthai meta tauta = future things. The churches occupy "things which are" AND extend into "things which shall be hereafter."

REV 2:5 — First Love, Come Quickly, Repent

- πέπτωκες (pipto) — Perf Act Ind 2S: "you have fallen" (completed fall with ongoing state) - μετανόησον (metanoeo) — Aor Act Impv 2S: "repent!" (decisive, urgent) - ἔρχομαί (erchomai) — Pres M/P Ind 1S: "I am coming" (present tense = futuristic present, vivid) - κινήσω (kineo) — Fut Act Ind 1S: "I will remove" - μετανοήσῃς (metanoeo) — Aor Act Subj 2S: "you repent" (conditional)

KEY FINDING: erchomai in present tense = futuristic present, making the coming vivid and certain. This is DISCIPLINARY coming (remove candlestick), not Second Coming.

REV 2:7 — Ear Formula + Overcomer #1 (Tree of Life)

- ἔχων (echo) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one having" - ἀκουσάτω (akouo) — Aor Act Impv 3S: "let him hear" - Πνεῦμα (pneuma, G4151) — Nom Sg N: "the Spirit" - ἐκκλησίαις (ekklesia, G1577) — Dat Pl F: "to the churches" (PLURAL) - νικῶντι (nikao, G3528) — Pres Act Ptcp Dat Sg M: "to the one overcoming" (PRESENT ACTIVE — ongoing) - ξύλου τῆς ζωῆς (xylon tes zoes) — "tree of life"

KEY FINDING: ekklesia is DATIVE PLURAL — "to the churches." Each message is directed to ALL churches, not just the one addressed. Nikao is present active participle = ongoing participation in victory.

REV 2:10 — Faithful unto Death, Crown of Life

- μέλλεις πάσχειν (mello + pascho) — "you are about to suffer" - μέλλει βάλλειν (mello + ballo) — "is about to cast" - πειρασθῆτε (peirazo) — Aor Pass Subj 2P: "you may be tested" - θλῖψιν ἡμερῶν δέκα (thlipsis hemeron deka) — "tribulation of ten days" - γίνου πιστὸς (ginomai pistos) — Pres M/P Impv 2S: "be/become faithful" - ἄχρι θανάτου (achri thanatou) — "until death" - στέφανον τῆς ζωῆς (stephanos tes zoes, G4735) — "crown of life" (victor's crown)

KEY FINDING: stephanos (victor's crown, not diadema/royal crown) — the same word used for first seal rider (6:2). "Tribulation of ten days" uses specific numeral deka.

REV 2:11 — Overcomer #2 (Second Death)

- νικῶν (nikao) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one overcoming" - οὐ μὴ ἀδικηθῇ (ou me adikeo) — "shall absolutely not be hurt" (double negative = emphatic denial) - θανάτου τοῦ δευτέρου — "the second death"

REV 2:17 — Overcomer #3 (Hidden Manna, White Stone, New Name)

- νικῶντι (nikao) — Pres Act Ptcp Dat Sg M: "to the one overcoming" - κεκρυμμένου (krupto) — Perf Pass Ptcp Gen Sg N: "having been hidden" (state of hiddenness) - ψῆφον λευκήν (psephos leukos) — "white stone" - ὄνομα καινὸν γεγραμμένον (onoma kainos grapho) — "new name having been written" (Perf Pass Ptcp)

REV 2:25 — "Till I Come"

- κρατήσατε (krateo) — Aor Act Impv 2P: "hold fast!" (decisive) - ἄχρι οὗ ἂν ἥξω (achri hou an hexo) — "until I should come" - ἥξω (heko) — Aor Act Subj 1S: "I should come" (subjunctive with an = indefinite future)

KEY FINDING: achri hou an hexo = "until which time I come." This extends the Thyatira period to Christ's return. The subjunctive with an makes the timing indefinite but certain. This is NOT merely disciplinary — it's Second Coming language.

REV 2:26 — Overcomer #4 (Power over Nations)

- νικῶν (nikao) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one overcoming" - τηρῶν (tereo) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one keeping" (BOTH participles present active) - ἄχρι τέλους (achri telous) — "until the end" - ἐξουσίαν ἐπὶ τῶν ἐθνῶν (exousia epi ton ethnon) — "authority over the nations"

KEY FINDING: "achri telous" (until the end) parallels "achri hou an hexo" (until I come) in 2:25. Both point to consummation.

REV 2:29 — Ear Formula (Pure Form)

- Verbatim identical to the formula in 2:7, 2:11, 2:17 (first half), 3:6, 3:13, 3:22 - 10 Greek words, zero variation across all seven occurrences

REV 3:3 — Come as a Thief

- μνημόνευε (mnemonuo) — Pres Act Impv 2S: "keep remembering" - εἴληφας (lambano) — Perf Act Ind 2S: "you have received" (and still possess) - μετανόησον (metanoeo) — Aor Act Impv 2S: "repent!" (decisive) - γρηγορήσῃς (gregoreo) — Aor Act Subj 2S: "you watch" - ἥξω ὡς κλέπτης (heko hos kleptes) — Fut Act Ind 1S: "I will come as a thief" - ποίαν ὥραν ἥξω (poian horan heko) — "what hour I will come"

KEY FINDING: "Come as a thief" (heko + hos kleptes) parallels 1 Thess 5:2 and 2 Pet 3:10. This is Second Coming imagery, not disciplinary.

REV 3:5 — Overcomer #5 (White Raiment, Book of Life)

- νικῶν (nikao) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M - περιβαλεῖται (periballo) — Fut Mid Ind 3S: "shall be clothed" - ἱματίοις λευκοῖς (himation leukos) — "white garments" - ἐξαλείψω (exaleipho) — Fut Act Ind 1S: "I will blot out" (with ou me = "I will certainly not") - βίβλου τῆς ζωῆς (biblos tes zoes) — "book of life" - ὁμολογήσω (homologeo) — Fut Act Ind 1S: "I will confess"

REV 3:11 — "I Come Quickly"

- ἔρχομαι (erchomai, G2064) — Pres M/P Ind 1S: "I am coming" (futuristic present) - ταχύ (tachus) — "quickly" - κράτει (krateo) — Pres Act Impv 2S: "hold fast" (keep holding) - στέφανόν (stephanos, G4735) — Acc Sg M: "crown"

KEY FINDING: erchomai tachu = "I am coming quickly." Same formulation in Rev 22:7, 12, 20 where it is undeniably Second Coming language.

REV 3:14 — The Amen, Faithful and True Witness

Greek: ...λέγει ὁ Ἀμήν, ὁ μάρτυς ὁ πιστὸς καὶ ἀληθινός, ἡ ἀρχὴ τῆς κτίσεως τοῦ Θεοῦ - Ἀμήν (amen) — Hebrew loanword: "the Amen" - μάρτυς ὁ πιστὸς καὶ ἀληθινός — "the faithful and true witness" (cf. Rev 1:5) - ἡ ἀρχὴ τῆς κτίσεως τοῦ Θεοῦ — "the beginning/origin of the creation of God" - ἀρχή (arche, G746) — can mean "beginning," "origin," "ruler," "first cause"

REV 3:20 — "I Stand at the Door and Knock"

- ἕστηκα (histemi) — Perf Act Ind 1S: "I have taken my stand" / "I stand" (perfect = settled position) - θύραν (thura, G2374) — "door" - κρούω (krouo) — Pres Act Ind 1S: "I am knocking" (continuous action) - ἀκούσῃ (akouo) — Aor Act Subj 3S: "should hear" - ἀνοίξῃ (anoigo) — Aor Act Subj 3S: "should open" - εἰσελεύσομαι (eiserchomai) — Fut Mid Ind 1S: "I will enter" - δειπνήσω (deipneo) — Fut Act Ind 1S: "I will dine/sup"

KEY FINDING: hesteka (perfect tense) = "I have taken my stand and remain standing." This is settled, persistent positioning at the door. The door imagery parallels Mat 24:33 (epi thurais), Jas 5:9 (pro ton thuron), Mrk 13:29 (epi thurais).

REV 3:21 — Overcomer #7 (Sit on Throne)

- νικῶν (nikao, G3528) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one overcoming" - καθίσαι (kathizo) — Aor Act Inf: "to sit" - θρόνῳ (thronos, G2362) — Dat Sg M: "throne" - ὡς κἀγὼ ἐνίκησα (hos kago enikesa) — "even as I also overcame" - ἐνίκησα (nikao) — Aor Act Ind 1S: Christ's completed victory - ἐκάθισα (kathizo) — Aor Act Ind 1S: "I sat down"

KEY FINDING: The theological hinge of the entire nikao chain. "hos kago" = "as I also" — grammatically connecting believers' present overcoming to Christ's completed (aorist) victory. The ultimate overcomer promise: throne-sharing.

REV 21:7 — Overcomer Capstone

- νικῶν (nikao) — Pres Act Ptcp Nom Sg M: "the one overcoming" - κληρονομήσει (kleronomeo) — Fut Act Ind 3S: "will inherit" - ἔσομαι αὐτῷ Θεός (esomai auto theos) — "I will be to him God" - αὐτὸς ἔσται μοι υἱός (autos estai moi huios) — "he will be to me a son"

KEY FINDING: Same nikao (present active participle) as in all seven church promises. The inheritance (kleronomeo, future) caps the seven promises with "all things."
