SIGNIFICANCE: Two aorist verbs (birth, ascension) bracket a present-tense "is about to rule." The birth and ascension are PAST EVENTS within Revelation's prophetic sequence. This makes pure futurism impossible (these events are already past) while the sequence continues through 1260 days (12:6), the remnant (12:17), 42 months of the beast (13:5), Three Angels (14:6-12), and the harvest/Second Coming (14:14-20).


REV 13:18 — 666 (Psephizo / Arithmos)

Greek Text: Ὧδε ἡ σοφία ἐστίν. ὁ ἔχων νοῦν ψηφισάτω τὸν ἀριθμὸν τοῦ θηρίου· ἀριθμὸς γὰρ ἀνθρώπου ἐστίν. καὶ ὁ ἀριθμὸς αὐτοῦ ἑξακόσιοι ἑξήκοντα ἕξ.

REV 1:19 — Three Temporal Categories

REV 17:10 — Seven Kings (Present Tense)

The verb ktizo ("create") denotes new creation, not renovation. The Israel/Gentile distinction has been dissolved into "one new man" — demolishing futurism's two-peoples theology.


1PE 2:9 — Royal Priesthood (Israel's Titles Applied to Church)
