HIST Position Re-validation -- dan3-06-COMPARE-daniel-2

Re-validation Date: 2026-03-26

Issues from Phase 5a

  1. [RESOLVED] I7 inaugurated-dimension misattribution
  2. I7 now reads Position: "PRET, FUT (progressive)" with MED confidence
  3. No HIST attribution remains anywhere in the Inferences Table
  4. Tally note (line 221) explicitly states: "I7 (two-phase stone reading) is listed under PRET/FUT (progressive) -- HIST does not adopt this framework"
  5. HIST DB confirms: record "stone is NOT first advent / inaugurated kingdom" (category: counter-response) explicitly rejects the inaugurated/two-phase reading for HIST

  6. [RESOLVED] Church-state clay reading missing

  7. I16 is present and correctly classified:
    • Claim: "Clay = ecclesiastical/religious power mingled with political iron (church-state union)"
    • Type: I-A(2)
    • Position: HIST (sub-position)
    • Confidence: MED
  8. Supporting evidence properly cited: I1 (Rome = fourth kingdom) + E4 + E5, LXX ostrakinon parallel, Rev 17 harlot-beast parallel
  9. Correctly notes the limitation: chasaph (H2635) = potsherd/baked clay per BDB, specific church-state identification requires external framework
  10. HIST DB confirms: 12 records in the "church-state-union" category covering iron-clay = church-state union with Secrets Unsealed / Bohr sourcing

  11. [RESOLVED] Conclusion text two-phase stone description

  12. Conclusion paragraph (line 345) now reads: "HIST distinguishes Christ's identity as the stone (acknowledged via the NT stone chain) from the stone's kingdom-establishing action (exclusively future)"
  13. No "two-phase stone reading" language attributed to HIST in the Conclusion
  14. I-B Resolution Step 5 (line 129) explicitly states: "HIST does not adopt this two-phase framework -- HIST distinguishes Christ's identity as the stone (acknowledged) from the stone's kingdom-establishing action (exclusively future Second Coming, I5)"
  15. Verification Phase Step E (line 194) confirms: "HIST does not adopt the two-phase framework -- HIST holds stone = Second Coming exclusively (I5)"
  16. Spec-Match Matrix commentary (lines 263) correctly states: "HIST does not adopt a two-phase framework -- it maintains the stone's action is exclusively future"

Additional Verifications

  • I5 (HIST stone position): Correctly represents HIST as stone = Second Coming exclusively, I-A(1), HIGH confidence. Three converging arguments cited: stone strikes feet (divided phase must exist), ka-chadah (simultaneous destruction not yet occurred), earth-filling (not yet realized).
  • Spec-Match Matrix HIST entries: Unchanged and correct across all 12 specifications. HIST profile: 10 HIGH, 2 MED, 0 LOW confidence; average I-A chain depth 1.25.
  • Aggregate Classification Profile: HIST correctly shown with shallowest inference chain (2 E, 2 N, 6 I-A(1), 2 I-A(2), 0 I-C).

Remaining Issues

Minor tally arithmetic (LOW severity, not a HIST representation error): The I-A subtotal count reads 12 (line 204) but 13 I-A items now exist after I16 was added. The confidence breakdown "4 HIGH, 5 MED, 3 LOW" should be "4 HIGH, 6 MED, 3 LOW" (I16 is MED). The positional tally table I-A row sums to 12 (5+5+1+0+1=12) but should sum to 13. This is a bookkeeping discrepancy that does not affect the HIST position's representation, classification, or any substantive conclusion. It likely stems from the Phase 5b tally update incrementing the grand total to 33 without also incrementing the I-A sub-line.

Recommendation

PASS -- All three Phase 5a issues are fully resolved. The HIST position is correctly represented throughout CONCLUSION.md and 03-analysis.md. The minor tally arithmetic discrepancy does not affect HIST representation and does not warrant a gap ledger entry.
