Key observation: OT parallels cluster around commandment-keeping language. Neh 1:5 and Dan 9:4 both use the covenant formula "keeping his covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments" (echoing Exo 20:6; Deu 7:9), demonstrating the continuity of the love-commandment pairing from Exodus to Revelation.

Key observation: Rev 13:10 is the closest parallel (0.437), sharing the "patience/endurance of the saints" + faith vocabulary. 1 Tim 6:14 pairs commandment-keeping with Jesus. The faith-commandment pairing is unique to Revelation's eschatological context.

NT Parallels (top 10)¶
| Reference | Hybrid | Sem | Key | Key Terms |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gal 5:14 | 0.497 | 0.80 | 0.30 | compassion, law, neighbor |
| Rom 13:8 | 0.441 | 0.77 | 0.20 | compassion, law |
| Mrk 12:31 | 0.427 | 0.72 | 0.20 | compassion, neighbor |

| Rom 13:9 | 0.414 | 0.69 | 0.20 | compassion, neighbor |
| Mat 22:39 | 0.411 | 0.69 | 0.20 | compassion, neighbor |

| Rom 3:20 | 0.379 | 0.64 | 0.20 | law, therefore |
Key observation: Gal 5:14 is the strongest parallel (0.497) -- Paul's other statement that "all the law is fulfilled in one word...love thy neighbour as thyself." Jas 2:8 confirms James's independent agreement on the "royal law" of neighbor-love. The love-law-neighbor triad is consistent across Paul, Jesus (Mat 22:39; Mrk 12:31,33), and James.
EXO 20:3 -- "Thou shalt have no other gods before me"¶
Note: Both --hybrid-ot and --hybrid-nt searches returned "Verse not found: EXO 20:3". This appears to be a tool limitation with the verse reference format for Exodus in the cross-testament parallels index.
